Our Pastor, Caleb Benson and his wife Sarah moved to Juneau in the spring of 2023. Raised in a Christian home, saved at a young age, and called into the ministry while attending youth camp, Pastor Benson and his family are veterans of Christian service. He and Sarah met at and graduated from West Coast Baptist Bible College in 2004. His family served as missionaries in Cameroon, West Africa. Pastor Benson also served as a college professor at Texas Independent Baptist Seminary.

He and his family are excited about serving in Juneau. Having grown up in Cody, Wyoming, Juneau felt just like home. He accepted the Pastorate of Lighthouse Baptist Church in September 2025. He loves the place God has called him to and is excited about serving God in such a beautiful place with such a wonderful community.
